In the Lakes and Plains region of InterVarsity, we have a rich, vibrant, and growing work. God has been so good to us.
Our vision is to see students and faculty’s lives transformed by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the campuses in our region renewed and world changers developed and sent out.
While we are a student led mission on the local campus, our campus staff play a vital role in training, coaching and leading these student leaders. We need staff to be “leaders of leaders.”
We have many staff openings in our region, below are a few highlighted campuses for which we are seeking new staff. For more information on these and other priority campuses for which we're seeking staff, take a look at our priority campus booklet.
Associate Area Director – WI NorthEast (position description)
The Wisconsin Northeast Area is home to hundreds of thousands of students who are deeply loved by God. We long to see healthy partnerships that work to grow our ability to call every corner of every campus to follow Jesus, and we have a lot of room for growth toward that goal. The Associate Area Ministry Director (AAD) would take primary responsibility for the health of the work of InterVarsity in the southern half of the Fox Valley (Oshkosh, Fond du Lac, Manitowoc and surrounding areas). The Associate Area Ministry Director in WINE must be willing to allocate 25-30% of their weekly hours to networking and fundraising. Candidates should be knowledgeable about student ministry, adept at building partnerships, and willing to take appropriate risks to see the corners of campuses reached. Previous success in working with volunteers, professional networking and fundraising are required. Showing ability to motivate and coach student leaders and staff toward their best efforts is helpful, and experience in planting is preferred. (Contact Andy Lickel and Amy Jacobsen)
